Designed for those with little to no previous sailing experience, this action packed day out in the beautiful Solent is perfect for beginners. Everyone on-board becomes fully involved in raising the sails, steering the yacht and working on the foredeck.Throughout the day a professional crew will be on hand to ensure everyone gets the most out of their day. With a choice of vessels, this gift offers the recipient the option to sail on Whitbread 60 Blueprint midweek or Clipper 60 Taeping at weekends.

Itinerary:

The crew meet at 10am in the marina for a cup of tea or coffee and safety brief about the boat. Then head up Southampton Water into the open area of the Solent. This trip runs from 10am to 4pm on selected Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays aboard Whitbread 60 Blueprint and selected Saturdays and Sundays aboard Clipper 60, Taeping, from April to September. You are welcome to sit back and enjoy the ride or take part in the sailing which will involve taking the helm, hoisting and trimming sails. Lunch is provided onboard, before returning to Ocean Village for about 3.30pm.
